Leo, Our Little Lion Man

      February 8th! That's our new surgery date. Broken record over here, but please pray that all works out for that to happen. For patience, strength, and wisdom in the waiting too.     Leo did test positive for covid. There is some blessing in knowing that he has at least had it and recovered well. The pediatrician talked to us about watching for something to come back 3 to 4 weeks out from symptoms so please pray for Leo to stay healthy or recover from that well.      And then just continued prayer for eating and gaining.      Big praise is that he has been doing so well in therapies recently! He was reaching for stuff. Brad and I think that he reaches for our faces sometimes. He very much has some vision we are just learning more about it.      God has just impressed on my heart over the past couple of days a gratefulness for Leo's expressiveness. He is SO expressive and it's so wonderful to witness, especially with where Leo has come from.      My last prayer request,

      I forget if I said on here or not, Leo's surgery is scheduled for the 25th. We have some appointments on the 24th so our whole trip got moved.      We have been dealing with some covid and sickness stuff in our house. We are thankful for mostly good health right now, except for some lingering cold symptoms. We are thinking that it could be quite likely that Leo could test positive for covid and then have to be postponed again. I'm just not sure about the protocols and concerns and all that. It's a lot and there are more sicknesses out there than just covid.      Basically, please pray for wisdom and clarity when it comes to Leo's health and getting the surgery. I will say that while we have been at home a lot and battling sickness, Leo has been eating more and sleeping more! Praise Jesus! Like he's been taking a LOT by bottle. We haven't weighed him recently, but we'll see. That being said, we are not freaking out about his health if the surgery gets p

      Surgery is rescheduled!     Anesthesia was not comfortable with him being put under with his cough and congestion right now. Leo and I are still going in to Philly today for a neurology check up.      Thankfully, rescheduling wasn't a big hassle. It's just disappointing to be expecting this for a while and now have to wait longer. Please pray for wisdom in keeping Leo healthy as we approach the date of surgery. As always, please pray for weight gain.      Thanks for your kindness and help. 

  Leo has a cold! Please pray that he will be at a good place to do the surgery. We will call the doctor Monday morning and explain how he's doing to see if they want to postpone or not. At this point he's just really snotty and coughing some, but we really don't want it to interfere with surgery.
